I’m having a week of extreme doing. When I say extreme doing, I don’t mean working myself into the ground. Rather, creating a silence so I can hear myself think again.
Here is a bunch of stuff I did, thought, said and looked at in 2013. I like writing these things down and having a little look back. I hope you all had a brilliant 2013, and all the best for 2014.
I watched a lot of films in 2013 and I really like taking time out once a week to just chill out with one. I’d wanted to watch my entire collection, but was about 46 films short at the end of the year. I kept track (of course) in a spreadsheet (of course) so I […]
Alongside my other, more “regular” goals for 2013, I wanted to make some that I knew I would really enjoy. This sparked a simple idea to get me listening to a wider variety of music, and listening better.
Last night I got to see a man who has been into space, sing a song about being in space, written by a man who is quite possibly from space. Much like when I watched the video of Commander Chris Hadfield performing Space Oddity in space, I cried.

I had lots to do today in preparation for the coming week, plus my brother came over to watch a film and eat popcorn.
I wasn’t at home much today. I went for lunch with my Mum and my Grandma, and then went to the theatre with my Mum in the evening. I still wasn’t feeling amazing, so my vitamin c consumption shot through the roof.
I’ve been feeling a little weird (tired) so have been resting as next week is really busy. I’ve been keeping up with work, watching some films and working on the sparkle project (more on that tomorrow).
Two exciting things happened today. One, I was featured on a design blog. Two, I went to a recording of TV show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
The habit of working in the morning and having free time in the afternoon has definitely kicked in. I’m not complaining, it’s wonderful that people keep wanting to give me work! It has meant that this month wasn’t quite what I envisioned, but it has been reassuring and may mean that I can spend a […]
I spent my morning running around town, trying to find things for a wedding, my afternoon at an RSPCA charity event, and my evening with another film.
