It’s 4:30am and I’m awake. All because of a dream.
Here is a bunch of stuff I did, thought, said and looked at in 2013. I like writing these things down and having a little look back. I hope you all had a brilliant 2013, and all the best for 2014.
Alongside my other, more “regular” goals for 2013, I wanted to make some that I knew I would really enjoy. This sparked a simple idea to get me listening to a wider variety of music, and listening better.
Last night I got to see a man who has been into space, sing a song about being in space, written by a man who is quite possibly from space. Much like when I watched the video of Commander Chris Hadfield performing Space Oddity in space, I cried.
Two exciting things happened today. One, I was featured on a design blog. Two, I went to a recording of TV show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
David Bowie is so many things. I have loved his music for years, and had some vague understanding of his importance to culture and the world. But I never fully took that on board.

Butterflies and Hurricanes by Muse Muse aren’t my number 1 band, not quite anyway, but they do win the title of my most favourite song since I first heard it 7ish years ago.
I’ve had a very musical week. An amazing week.
Last night was Muse at the Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust gig. It was pretty darn special.
