Tintagel. Satnav decided to take us single track roads all the way. We had to stop to let some baby cows past, there was grass growing down the middle of the road. I drove in constant fear of meeting an oncoming vehicle. I ignored the satnav on the way back and aimed for A roads.
Again, Tintagel was worth the stressy drive. Gorgeous, and ancient. Slightly terrifying and exhausting, I was convinced the entire time that I was going to fall in the sea. Luckily I didn’t. According to my fitbit that day we climbed 64 flights of stairs. I think that justifies the insane amount of fudge I ended up eating.
I don’t even really like fudge, but Granny Wobbly’s fudge smelt so good I just couldn’t resist. The best fudge I have ever had, dissolves on the tongue. Yum.
