Designed to complement the Pubhack logo. Yes they are meant to be wonky! Have discovered using a topcoat under striping tape prevents lifting off the colour.
Two exciting things happened today. One, I was featured on a design blog. Two, I went to a recording of TV show Never Mind the Buzzcocks.
The weather was rather rainy today so I switched my plans round. I worked during the day and then took some time in the afternoon to do another quick drawing.
It’s the end of my first “working week” and I’m almost as tired as I was from being at work. As mentioned on day 1, I didn’t want to just sit on my arse, so I’ve kept myself pretty busy. I’m realising why half this stuff doesn’t usually get done.

For anyone interested (and in the area) Friday is the beginning of mine and the Mister’s degree show at the University of Portsmouth. We will be exhibiting work we’ve done on our course and will be available to chat to. The rest of the school is exhibiting too and from what I’ve seen going up, […]
I read this one in full and it was pretty interesting stuff. Like ‘How to be a graphic designer without losing your soul’ it has lots of tips and things you can expect entering the design world. It has case studies and interviews and McCormack has some good life experience to share. Well worth picking […]
We started our “Self Promotion” unit today. I’ve had this book about a year and a half but don’t think I ever managed to read it all properly. It’s on the reading list for this unit, and with working full time being imminent I read it over the weekend and found it to be very […]
